Meet the Author:

Virginia D. Warden RN MS, AG-ACNP-BC

I am a retired Registered Nurse who worked in the Emergency Room over the last 40 years of my career. In addition to my RN license, I am licensed as a Nurse Practitioner. I most recently became a Freelance writer after being inspired by my Great Aunts story, (writings in her diary) describing her experiences as a nurse in France during the First World War. The book I have written is a historical fiction as it is based on factual information, however the chronology of some events are compressed. Additionally, when necessary, the names and identifying characteristics of individuals and places have been changed to maintain privacy. To make it a more interesting read I have woven a romance in the story.

Sharing the heartfelt story of my great aunt, a WWI nurse whose diary inspired this novel.
